Privacy policy

What we collect

Only what you give us. The quote form asks for your name, a phone number, the location of the property, and optionally an email address and a description of the work. If you call, we get your number and whatever you say on the recording if it goes to voicemail.

The site does not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics that follow you elsewhere. It is a static site hosted on Netlify, and Netlify keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for security and operational purposes.

What we do with it

We pass it to the local tree company handling your quote so they can contact you and price the work. That is the purpose of the form and the phone line, and it is the only routine use.

We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to anybody other than the contractor handling your enquiry, except where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept while they are useful for following up and reasonably afterward for our own records. If you want your details removed, email hello@winstonsalemtreeco.com and say so.

Voicemail

The phone number on this site routes to voicemail when it is not answered. Recordings and automatic transcriptions of those messages are handled through Twilio and are used to pass your enquiry on. Do not leave payment details or other sensitive information on a voicemail.

Cookies

The site does not set marketing or tracking cookies. Netlify may set functional cookies necessary for serving and securing the site.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anybody under thirteen.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
